1960

Berlin, Germany

In 1960 JM World Orchestra brought together outstanding young musicians in Berlin, Germany, under the guidance of world-class conductors Charles MacLaurin Mackerras such as for a full concert programme featuring also the choir, followed by an international tour. The JM World Orchestra is a historical program of Jeunesses Musicales International and it still represents a significant part of the history of the organisation, as well as the first international youth orchestra of its kind.
