Here's how

Hosting the JM World Orchestra is an opportunity for a country to become the stage for one of the world’s most inspiring cultural collaborations—an “orchestra without borders” that brings together outstanding young professional musicians aged 18–30 from across the globe to perform, collaborate, and build lasting artistic bridges. Rooted in a tradition that began in 1949 and recognised by UNESCO as an Artist for Peace, the orchestra represents both artistic excellence and cultural diplomacy, uniting exceptional talent, internationally renowned conductors, and audiences in a shared celebration of music that transcends language, nationality, and politics. A host country gains not only a world-class orchestra with extraordinary international diversity, but also the opportunity to connect its cultural life to JMI’s global network, present concerts of the highest artistic level, and engage communities through educational and cultural exchange activities. To make this possible, the host organisation partners with JMI to deliver a rehearsal residency and international concert tour — typically including a one-week rehearsal period and at least three to five concerts — while providing local coordination, rehearsal venues, accommodation, technical production, and organisational support for the session and tour. In return, JMI manages the international auditions, artistic coordination, repertoire, and overall project management, ensuring that each project delivers a powerful artistic experience and a unique encounter between cultures. Hosting the JM World Orchestra is therefore not simply presenting concerts; it is welcoming the future of classical music and placing your country at the heart of a global movement where music becomes a force for connection, dialogue, and inspiration.
