In 1991 JM World Orchestra brought together outstanding young musicians in Berlin, Halle-Saale and Hamburg in Germany, for a performance under the Belgian conductor Ronald Zollman. The JM World Orchestra is a historical program of Jeunesses Musicales International and it still represents a significant part of the history of the organisation, as well as the first international youth orchestra of its kind.

Conductor

Ronald Zollman (born 1954) is a Belgian conductor known for his international career in symphonic and operatic repertoire. He has held major artistic positions, including principal conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Liège, where he contributed to artistic development, touring, and recording projects. Zollman has worked extensively in Europe and Asia as a guest conductor, performing a broad repertoire ranging from classical and romantic symphonies to contemporary music. He is particularly recognized for his clear conducting technique, stylistic versatility, and commitment to both established works and modern compositions.
